These terms are governed by English Law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
1. Definitions
- "The Company" refers to CTAP Ltd, trading as CompareTheAirportParking.com (Company No. 16440670)
- "The Customer" refers to the person making or using the booking
- "Service Provider" / "Operator" refers to the car park operator whose services you are booking
- "Booking" refers to the specific airport parking service purchased through this website
- "Date of Departure" refers to the date of your outward flight
2. Our Role as a Booking Agent
CompareTheAirportParking.com acts as a booking intermediary (agent) on behalf of car parking operators. When you book through our site:
- Your contract for the parking service is with the car park operator — not with us
- We are responsible for accurately processing your booking and taking payment
- We are not responsible for the physical delivery of the parking service
- Any claims relating to the parking service (e.g. damage, delays) must be made against the operator
Our total liability to you is limited to the value of the booking fee you paid to us. We accept no liability for consequential losses, including missed flights, loss of earnings, or additional costs.
3. Making a Booking
A booking is confirmed once a booking reference number has been issued to you by email. At this point, you are deemed to have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
- You must provide a valid email address and phone number — these will be used to send your confirmation and any important updates
- It is your responsibility to read the confirmation email before travelling
- Bookings made within 24 hours of travel must be confirmed with our team — unconfirmed late bookings are not guaranteed
- All services are subject to availability. We reserve the right not to fulfil a booking if the operator cannot accommodate it; a full refund will be given in this case
4. Prices & Payment
All prices shown are inclusive of all charges for the period booked, unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice — the price confirmed at the time of booking is the price you pay.
- Promotional offers cannot be applied retrospectively to existing bookings
- Offers apply to a minimum spend of £30
- If you return later than booked, the operator may charge a late return fee of £10, plus any additional days' parking at the prevailing rate
- The booking fee is non-refundable in all circumstances
5. Cancellations & Refunds
Please note: Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the 14-day cooling-off period does not apply to leisure services booked for a specific date. Cancellations are governed by these terms.
All cancellations must be made by email to bookings@comparetheairportparking.com during office hours (Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm). Telephone cancellations are not accepted.

Additional cancellation rules
- A minimum £40 administration charge applies to all cancellations
- Non-flexible / Super Saver products are non-refundable unless protected by Cancellation Cover
- Non-flexible products with Cancellation Cover are eligible for a 60% refund only
- If you shorten your stay after it has started, the full original price remains payable — no partial refund is given
- Bookings via third-party websites are non-refundable
- Cancelled or unused bookings are not transferable
- Refunds are made to the original payment method used
Amendments
All amendments are subject to a £20 administration fee. To amend your booking, email bookings@comparetheairportparking.com or call 0207 129 7309. Changes must be requested at least 48 hours before travel. Any extra charge arising from a requested change will be taken from your original payment method automatically.
6. Flight Cancellations & Disruptions
No refund will be issued for pre-paid airport parking in the event of a flight cancellation, delay, or any other change to your travel plans. We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance to cover such circumstances.
If your flight is cancelled by the airline, any compensation or rebooking is the responsibility of the airline directly. Unused parking bookings that have been postponed may be reused within 12 months, subject to availability, a £20 admin fee, and payment of any price difference.
7. Optional Extras
Cancellation Cover
Cancellation Cover provides additional flexibility if you need to cancel. See Section 5 for the specific refund amounts applicable. Note: Cancellation Cover does not apply to same-day or next-day bookings, or to certain product types where stated. Cancellation Cover charges are non-refundable.
Late Return Cover
Late Return Cover allows you up to 12 additional hours to collect your vehicle on the same day your return flight lands, as long as you collect before midnight. Returns after midnight are charged at the standard day rate.
SMS Confirmation
An optional paid service providing a text message confirmation of your booking. The SMS charge is non-refundable.
8. On the Day — Your Responsibilities
- Arrive on time: For Meet & Greet parking, arrive 3–3.5 hours before your flight. Arriving outside this window may result in waiting times
- Follow the instructions provided in your confirmation email. The operator may refuse service if instructions are not followed — no refund will be given in this case
- Car keys: You may be required to leave your keys with the operator for efficient vehicle management
- Vehicle condition: Your vehicle must be roadworthy with a valid road fund licence. Unroadworthy vehicles may be refused — no refund will be given
- Oversized vehicles: Vehicles over 2 metres high or long-wheelbase may be subject to additional charges from the operator
- No valuables: Do not leave valuables in your vehicle. We and the operator accept no liability for items left in parked vehicles
9. Insurance & Liability
The operator's insurance covers road risks only — i.e. their drivers moving your vehicle. It does not cover your vehicle whilst stationary in the car park. Any claim for damage while your vehicle is parked must be made against your own motor insurance.
- We and the operator accept no liability for damage to windscreens, tyres, or wheels caused by road conditions or flying debris
- We accept no liability for mechanical, electrical, or structural failure of your vehicle
- We accept no liability for loose items, personal possessions, or valuables left in the vehicle
- VAT receipts must be obtained from the operator directly — as a booking agent, we cannot issue a full VAT invoice under HMRC guidelines (see HMRC Agent Guide sections 22.5 and 23.1)
10. Complaints
For complaints about the parking service itself (delays, damage, conduct), please contact the operator directly on the day. Damage complaints must be noted at the time of vehicle collection — claims made after leaving the car park cannot be considered.
For complaints about our booking service:
- Complaints must be submitted by email to info@comparetheairportparking.com within 24 hours of your return to the UK
- We aim to acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 14 working days
11. Governing Law & Other Terms
- These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales
- These terms apply only to bookings made directly on this website
- We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the current terms
- If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force
